CE Requirements for
Alabama Board of Dental Examiners
2-4 hours max every 2 years, in-person only
Required annually only for OCS permit holders
OCS permit holders must complete minimum 2 hours sedation/anesthesia annually. Pro bono work (Alabama-based) counts for max 4 hours annually. Teaching: 2 hours CE per hour taught, max 10 hours annually. Report completions through the board's official CE tracking system.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Alabama Dentist renewal requirements.
