Alternative CE earning methods (subject to caps): ACLS, PALS, or NRP courses (initial, renewal, or instructor) count for up to 12 hours per cycle; preceptorship of CoARC-program students counts for up to 4 hours per cycle, awarded at 1 CE hour for every 24 clinical-supervision hours; NBRC recredentialing or specialty examination earns 5 hours each; lecture presentation earns 4 contact hours per hour of first presentation (no credit for repeats).
