CE Requirements for
Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy
No more than one-third of the total may be administration/management, academic coursework, professional presentations, or student supervision (Level II Fieldwork or Capstone Project mentorship); Level I Fieldwork supervision does not count. One CPR certification course may count for a maximum of 1 contact hour per renewal period. Employer-required in-services count except for employment-specific coursework (e.g., handbook, leave). The board does not pre-approve courses. CE Broker is the official tracking system; certificates are not submitted to the board except on audit.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Alabama Occupational Therapist renewal requirements.
