CE Requirements for
Arizona Board of Athletic Trainers
Required in addition to the 15 hours of continuing education. Licensees must maintain current CPR certification from a Board-approved provider.
Licenses renew annually under A.R.S. 32-4124; the 15 CEUs are owed since the issuance of the previous license. Continued BOC certification in good standing satisfies the continuing education requirement in place of the 15 CEUs. The Board sets no specific hours for the CPR certification requirement; it is satisfied by maintaining current Board-approved CPR certification. Licensees must keep continuing education records for the preceding two years and submit proof within 20 days of a Board request. The Board may waive the continuing education requirement for extreme hardship upon written request submitted 30 days before the license renewal date.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arizona Athletic Trainer renewal requirements.
