CE Requirements for
Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners
At least 4 of the 40 required hours must be in professional ethics; counted toward the 40 hours, not in addition to them.
Completion of the Board's four-hour online Jurisprudence Education Tool (JET); counted toward the 40 hours, not in addition to them.
Licenses renew by the last day of the licensee's birth month every other year — odd-numbered licenses in odd years, even-numbered licenses in even years (A.R.S. 32-2074). The initial license period is pro-rated: 40 divided by 24, multiplied by the whole months from initial licensure to the end of the period, including pro-rated ethics. Continuing education may not be carried over to the next license period. Courses designed to increase income or office efficiency are not accepted. An extension of time for good cause may be requested with the renewal application; the Board grants no extension longer than one year. Completion records must be kept through the license period following the one in which they were earned and reported through the Board's official CE tracking system.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arizona Licensed Psychologist renewal requirements.
