CE Requirements for
Arkansas State Board of Nursing
Advanced practice CE may be met through national certification/recertification — no additional hours required beyond RN requirement. Full Independent Practice certificate renewal requires evidence of 5 advanced pharmacology CE hours within last 2 years and renews every 3 years. In-service training, CPR/BLS, and hospital safety courses do not qualify.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arkansas Certified Nurse Practitioner renewal requirements.
