CE Requirements for
Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board
Live interactive webinars count as face-to-face hours and are not subject to the online cap; self-paced online and home-study activities together are capped at fifteen clock hours per renewal period. One academic credit hour equals fifteen clock hours; audited academic courses earn actual clock hours in attendance. First-time presentations (presentation plus equal preparation time) and first-time professional publications are each capped at ten clock hours per renewal period. Courses must vary in content to count more than once in the same renewal period. Documentation must be retained for two years after the renewal date; the Board audits a percentage of renewals each cycle. Deployed uniformed service members and their spouses receive a full CE exemption for 180 days following return from deployment.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arkansas Licensed Clinical Social Worker renewal requirements.
