CE Requirements for
Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Clinical and scientific foundations of speech-language pathology, including anatomy, physiology, evaluation, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.
Per § 9.4, the initial-licensing-year exemption applies; no CPE report is required for that first partial year. There is no exemption for the year in which the provisional license is converted to a full license unless conversion occurs within the initial licensing year. From the second renewal forward, provisional licensees follow the same ten-clock-hour CPE rule as full SLP licensees. College credit converts at one credit hour to 15 clock hours. The Board does not pre-approve programs; the licensee selects activities and retains documentation.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arkansas Speech-Language Pathologist Provisional renewal requirements.
