CE Requirements for
Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Clinical and scientific foundations of speech-language pathology, including anatomy, physiology, evaluation, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.
Annual CPE report required at renewal. Board conducts random audits annually; failure to respond to an audit incurs a $50 per month late penalty. College credit converts at one credit hour to 15 clock hours. Provisional and new licensees are exempt from CPE reporting in the initial licensing year; they document ten hours for the next licensing period. Dual SLP-and-audiologist licensees must complete 15 clock hours total with a minimum of 5 hours per discipline in Content Area I. The Board does not pre-approve programs; the licensee selects activities and retains documentation.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Arkansas Speech-Language Pathologist renewal requirements.
