CE Requirements for
Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Anatomic and physiologic bases of speech, language, hearing, and balance; production and perception processes; communication disorders; rehabilitation principles — at assistant scope per § 13.10.A.6.
The annual cap of ten hours assumes full-year registration; the per-month minimum (one hour per month registered) pro-rates for partial-year registrations. Activities must pertain to the Scope of Responsibilities under § 13.15. The registered assistant must complete and sign an annual registration application; an assistant may not begin or continue work without a valid registration. A supervising speech-language pathologist must be approved by the Board and provide direct/indirect supervision on a regular and systematic basis. Provisional and new assistants are exempt from CPE reporting in the initial registration year.
