CE Requirements for

A new licensee renewing for the first time during months 13 to 24 must complete 15 hours if the renewal is submitted on or before the expiration date; the same mandatory courses still apply. Basic Life Support must be a hands-on course comparable to or more advanced than the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers course. The Basic Life Support and Ethics, Laws and Regulations hours count within the renewal total and are not in addition to it. Retain documentation of continuing competency activity for five years after completion.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your California Physical Therapist renewal requirements.
