CE Requirements for
State Board of Marriage and Family Therapist Examiners
Continuing Professional Competency via CPD program: complete Professional Practice Survey, draft Personal Learning Plan, accrue 40 PDH. Registered marriage and family therapist candidates must complete sixty PDH at the second and all subsequent renewals. No more than twenty PDH in a single Professional Development Activity. New licensees prorate at one point sixty-six PDH per month. Up to five PDH may carry from the prior cycle if earned within three months of license expiration and in excess of the forty required. Retain documentation for five years. Deem Status and military active duty exemption available. Rule: 4 CCR 736-1 § 1.18.
