CE Requirements for
Connecticut Department of Public Health
Required during the first applicable renewal period (registration periods ending after January 1, 2016), then not less than once every six years thereafter.
First-time renewal applicants are exempt from CE until their next registration period. Certificate of completion required from the provider; retain at least three years following the renewal date. The Department may grant a waiver or extension for medical disability or illness; waivers must be requested annually at the time of license renewal. Licensees returning from a waiver must complete CE per Regulations § 20-195c-7 before returning to active practice.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Connecticut Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist renewal requirements.
