The Connecticut law does not specifically identify qualifying continuing education coursework; coursework must be in areas related to the individual licensee s practice of physical therapy. Internet-based and distance learning opportunities are acceptable on the same terms. Hours do not carry over between registration periods. Certificate of completion required; retain at least three years following the renewal date. First-time renewal applicants are exempt from CE. The Department may grant a waiver or extension for medical disability or illness on notarized application prior to the registration-period expiration.
