Management of Medical Emergencies4 hrs

Required for dentists holding active sedation permits. Must include an airway management component from a board-approved provider.

General Hours

Elective courses of your choice

At least 2 hours must be safe and effective prescribing of controlled substances (required every renewal).

Health Access Dentists practice in public health settings serving underserved populations. CPR certification (live course) is required at renewal — does not count toward CE hours. CE requirements are identical to the standard Florida Dentist license.
