CE Requirements for
Florida Board of Pharmacy
Can be ACPE or Board Approved coursework specified in 64B16-26.304, F.A.C.
First-time renewal: if initial renewal occurs 12 months or more after initial licensure date, only 12 hours are required. If initial renewal occurs less than 12 months from initial licensure date, no CE is required provided those hours are not being used for a Nuclear Pharmacist license renewal. Approved Nuclear Pharmacist CE hours can be applied toward a Pharmacist CE requirement if not simultaneously used for the Nuclear Pharmacist renewal. CE credits must be reported to the Florida Department of Health via the board's official CE tracking system ; do not submit certificates directly to the Board. Background screening (electronic fingerprinting) is required per House Bill 975 (2024 session); a $43.25 FDLE fingerprint retention fee may apply. Inactive licensees inactive for more than two consecutive biennial cycles wishing to reactivate may need to pass a special purpose examination or meet other reactivation requirements.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Florida Nuclear Pharmacist renewal requirements.
