CE Requirements for
Florida Physician Assistant
Required every third biennial cycle (every 6 years).
First renewal only.
Current NCCPA certification may substitute for 97 of the 98 general CME hours (still requires 2-hr Medical Errors + 1-hr HIV/AIDS for first renewal). Prescribing PAs: 10 hrs CME per specialty area of supervising physician included in general hours. Up to 5 hrs credit per biennium for pro-bono services in critical need areas. Report completions through the board's official CE tracking system.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Florida Physician Assistants renewal requirements.
