Required every other renewal cycle. In addition to the 24 required hours — not counted toward them.

One-time requirement prior to first renewal only.
Nurses initially licensed during the current biennium are exempt from general CE hours but must complete all mandatory topic courses. Human Trafficking courses do not require Florida Board of Nursing approval but must meet statutory criteria.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Florida Registered Nurse renewal requirements.
