CE Requirements for
Georgia Composite Medical Board
An Institutional License in Georgia is a restricted license allowing an international medical school graduate to practice only within a specific Board-approved hospital, teaching institution, or clinic serving underserved populations. The license is held jointly by the physician and the institution. CE requirement totals eighty hours per biennium (forty hours of Category I AMA credit annually). Late renewal available within three months of expiration with penalty fee; otherwise the license is administratively revoked. Per Chapter 360-10.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Georgia Institutional Physician renewal requirements.
