Conditional Requirements

Telemental Health Training6 hrs

One-time requirement before providing clinical telemental health services. Counts toward the biennial CE total when completed within the cycle. Supervisors providing telemental supervision must complete three additional hours.

Board Notes

Of the thirty non-ethics hours, at least fifteen must be in counseling-core subjects and no more than fifteen may be in related subjects. Asynchronous content capped at ten hours per biennium. First-renewal exemption: a license initially issued on or after October 1 of an odd-numbered year requires no CE for the first renewal. Licensees retain documentation four years. Per Chapters 135-9 and 135-11.
