Georgia State Board of Podiatry Examiners
One-time career requirement for podiatrists who hold an active DEA certificate. Covers prescribing guidelines, abuse and misuse recognition, and pain management practices. Counts toward the biennial total.
Up to ten hours may be obtained live (in person) from any healthcare-related source. First-renewal exemption: licensees receiving credentials during the final six months of the renewal biennium are exempt for that initial cycle. Random audit penalties run fifty dollars per unsubstantiated or deficient credit hour. Records retained no less than three renewal periods or six years from attendance. Per Chapter 500-5.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Georgia Podiatrist renewal requirements.
