CE Requirements for
Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs
First-time licensees are exempt from the continuing education requirement for their first license renewal (HRS 467E-11(d)). Licensees who obtained their license between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2019 were not required to complete CE for that initial renewal period. Do not submit CE certificates with the renewal application. The Director may conduct random audits; selected licensees must provide documentary proof of compliance within sixty days of notification.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Hawaii Licensed Clinical Social Worker renewal requirements.
