Hawaii does not require continuing education for Licensed Mental Health Counselor renewal — confirmed by the DCCA Mental Health Counselor Program FAQ. Licenses renew triennially by June 30. A forfeited license may be restored within one year of the forfeiture date by contacting the Licensing Branch.
