CE Requirements for

First-renewal exemption: continuing education is not required for the first renewal of an LPN license. The Illinois Nursing Rules do not impose subject-matter CE topics for LPN renewal; all elective hours must come from an approved sponsor under 68 IAC 1300.130(c).
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse renewal requirements.
