CE Requirements for
Indiana State Board of Psychology
Minimum three hours must be Category I (formal programming).
Category I (formal programming) hours must total at least twenty across the renewal cycle. Up to twenty Category II (self-directed) hours may count. Home study within Category I is capped at ten hours; additional home study counts toward Category II.
Continuing education is required only of psychologists endorsed as Health Service Providers in Psychology (HSPP); non-HSPP licensees are exempt. HSPP endorsement issued between September of the renewal year and August of the following year reduces the requirement by half; HSPP endorsement issued in the second year of the biennium exempts the first cycle (per 868 IAC 1.1-15-10). Licensees must retain CE records for five years for audit.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Indiana Licensed Psychologist renewal requirements.
