EMR uses only the National Component of the NREMT NCCP (8 hours); higher EMS levels use both National and Local components. Current NREMT certification in good standing is accepted as an alternative. All EMS levels must complete HIV/AIDS (one-time), PAHT (biennial), and Sexual Violence Awareness (biennial) courses.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Kentucky Emergency Medical Responder renewal requirements.
