CE Requirements for
Louisiana State Board of Dentistry
One-time career requirement; must be completed before the first applicable renewal.
All CE must be clinical in nature. "Personally attended" means the licensee is physically present in the room where the course takes place. Online courses may count as in-person only if they include real-time interaction, multiple attendance checks, and an end-of-course exam. Dentists with sedation or anesthesia permits must also maintain current ACLS or PALS in addition to BLS. Upload CPR card to the board's official CE tracking system. CE must be reported by December 31.
