Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners
At least 5 of the 15 psychology CE hours must be LAMP-sponsored CME.
One-time initial requirement to obtain Advanced Practice (prescriptive authority) certification; not required for each annual renewal thereafter.
The Advanced Practice certification grants prescriptive authority to qualified Medical Psychologists. Report completions through the board's official CE tracking system. First-time renewees must also complete a Louisiana Laws and Rules course. Consult the LSBME at lsbme.la.gov for current requirements.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Louisiana Medical Psychologist Advanced Practice renewal requirements.
