Maryland Board of Nursing
Required upon first renewal after April 1, 2026 per Maryland HB 783; one-time attestation requirement, separate from the COMAR 10.27.01.13 CE pool and not counted toward them.
Implicit Bias and Structural Racism Training: hours are not specified by statute, attestation only. Audit-retention: evidence of completed CEUs must be retained for six years after renewal. CEUs may not be carried forward into the next renewal period. College or university coursework relating to nursing practice with a grade of C or higher may substitute, awarding fifteen CEUs per semester hour. Online license renewal at health.maryland.gov/mbon ninety days before through thirty days after the birth-month expiration date.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Maryland Registered Nurse renewal requirements.
