CE Requirements for
Michigan Board of Acupuncture
Special Volunteer license is for retired acupuncturists providing uncompensated care to indigent or underserved populations (MCL 333.16184–333.16185). CE requirements are the same as a regular acupuncturist license (30 hrs/2-yr including 5 hrs pain management). Provides civil liability protection for volunteers at facilities serving 75%+ medically indigent patients.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Michigan Acupuncturist Special Volunteer renewal requirements.
