One-time requirement addressing bioterrorism overview, protective equipment, and chemical/biological agent symptoms; exempt if completed in a previous renewal period.
Required for licensees who begin to provide or supervise emergency medical services in a hospital or primary care setting; must be completed within 2 years of beginning such services (effective January 1, 2024).
AB 267 (enacted 2023) increased cultural competency CE from 2 hours to 4 hours per renewal cycle, effective January 2024. Total overall CE hours and renewal cycle length are not specified on this page.
