CE Requirements for
New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners
Required per biennial cycle for DEA-registered practitioners.
Of the 20 biennial CE hours, 15 must be clinical dental care including a BLS-HCP course (hands-on, from AHA/Red Cross/NSC/ASHI qualified instructor); 2 hours must be infection control with CDC content. DEA-registered practitioners must also complete 3 hours in opioid prescribing CE. First biennial renewal after initial NH licensure is exempt from CE requirements. Renewal occurs February through April of odd-numbered years. Contact the NH Board of Dental Examiners via OPLC at oplc.nh.gov/board-dental-examiners for approved providers.
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your New Hampshire Dental Hygienist renewal requirements.
