CE Requirements for
Texas Optometry Board
An Optometric Glaucoma Specialist is a therapeutic optometrist authorized to treat glaucoma and prescribe oral prescription drugs. Opioid prescribers must additionally complete 1 hour per year on pain management best practices per Texas Health and Safety Code §481.0764. CPR/BLS certification is required every 2 years (not included in CE hour total).
CE courses from providers approved by these accreditors count toward your Texas Optometric Glaucoma Specialist renewal requirements.
